Oppenheimer Programme in African Landscape Systems (OPALS)
We’re pleased to announce applications are open for a fully-funded ‘Oppenheimer Impact Studentship’, using applied data science to support sustainable rangeland management with @ConservationSA_ as part of the Oppenheimer Programme in African Landscape Systems (OPALS; http://opals-exeter.org).
This training post combines a 12-month MSc Applied Data Science (Environment and Sustainability) in the UK followed by a 12-18 month post working for Conservation South Africa. This Impact Focused opportunity will be guided by Dr Andrew Cunliffe and Dr Tom Powell (University of Exeter) and Dr Heidi-Jayne Hawkins and Dr Perushan Rajah (Conservation South Africa) and is only available for nationals of an African country.
